BALLARAT SNAPSHOTS FROM HOME LEAGUE

The Young Christian Men's Association established the Ballarat branch of the Snapshots from Home League.

The object was to 'obtain home photographs for sending to our men in camp and hospitals in the fighting zones and in the navy, photographs of their own homes and loved ones, which will carry a special significance and main the home touch and keep before them the home and ideals for which they are fighting.'

Application forms for such photographs were available from the local Post Office. Photographs were free of charge.

Members had to own a camera and necessary equipment.
